Shillington 25 Year Anniversary.
While teaching at Shillington, I was tasked with generating the look and feel for their upcoming AGM. The brief was to turn the clock back to the year Shillington Design School was created: 1997.
In thinking about shifting the present to the past, I kept returning to the thought that both are continuously moving in opposite directions. So, naturally my visual solution began with a few philosophical questions about space and time, like “where does one end and one begin?”, “how can I show progression and regression simultaneously?”, and “how do I know where (or when) I really am?”.
The design forms grid structures from Florian Karstens - Raster. And creates a visual puzzle (hopefully) in space and time.
