Out of Mind.
Out of mind was a magazine article design created for the Shillington syllabus. It’s an article exploring how the turbulent 60's and psychadelic drug use changed the way music evolved. Riffing on the context, I decided to take the article on a trip; a place where synesthesia meets recurring visual distortions. Working with a baseline grid I was able to match the vertical spacing of the horizontal halftone pattern and create a point were they overlapped in a mesmerising space that looks how some of Hendrix’ pedals sound.
Good luck out there.
